The restaurant marked as child-friendly is definitely not child-friendly: We wanted to change our little son, but the room was only made available to us after asking 3 times (toilet defective and other meaningless statements) and waiting more than 15 minutes. It seemed too much for the employees to get the key. That was then "done" with an unfriendly expression. The complaint to the almost untraceable management was received with flimsy arguments. Perhaps one should pay above the minimum wage in order to be able to employ service-experienced staff. Families shouldn't stop here: There are better and much friendlier options in the ski area ... It's a shame

Most beautiful guesthouse in the Allgäu. We come here for years for the family ski vacation. Short distances to the ski school and the children feel very well. Car can be parked safely and during the holiday you do not need this anymore. And very comfortable. We are coming again next year.

It's okay for a weekend. A nice little hotel. It is nicely decorated. Advantage it is right on the ski lift. But this is also a lot of hustle and bustle. Outside ski guests come very early every morning and make noise with their cars. There are almost too many people. The Snow Bullys are also very loud. Driving up and down the mountain for a long time. The hostess was mainly careful on arrival. That you park your car correctly and arrive on time for dinner. Not a nice way to start your stay. What was also missing was a sauna in the house. The food was very rich and delicious. The breakfast was special again. You had to get your breakfast at the buffet where the day guests are. You were always looked at from the staff. And you didn't know what to take?!? For us it was an experience ....... doesn't have to be again.

Price / performance ratio is appropriate. Food was ok, unfortunately at lunch quite longer waiting times.

Small inn in the ski resort Balderschwang. In warm weather you can sit outside.

We were guests in the Schelpenalp for 5 days in February. Location is great, right by the lift. Food is good with two foods to choose from. Our room (family room) was quite large, but very noisy. Unfortunately, the hosts do not live their profession, because the friendliness leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately you don't really feel welcome.
